From Patricia: Dark Destiny has grown so much since she first came to us. She is a really sweet girl.  I can go into her stall at night when she is laying down sleeping and she will continue to snooze while I stroke her. The only time she raises her head is when I get up to leave.  She is halter broke and you can lead her anywhere.  She has a very sweet disposition.

Destiny was our 23rd rescue from PEC farm, she was very rough and ill when we got her. She required herrnia surgery which was very expensive, we are still raising funds. She is very small for her age, according to our vets this is from malnutrition and neglect.  You can see her hernia in the intake photo below but today she's healthy and ready to be adopted.

Destiny's Intake Photos
Before we could get intake photos, the Serenity volunteers had gone to work brushing the filth off Destiny, but you can see her hernia hanging down from her stomach. She was also wormy and had been so malnurished that she was one year old but looked like a much younger filly.
