We Care Deeply
Animal rescue can be hard work but the rewards are worth it! To help a painfully thin, scared or injured animal get healthy and learn to trust again is an experience that touches people on a fundamental level - it's one of the few times in our lives where we get back as much as we give.
Our
volunteers frequently comment that they enjoy coming out to the farm because they love the opportunity to connect with the rescues. The work is often hard and dirty, but it truly is a labor of love.
We keep our farm operations as
eco-friendly as possible, avoiding chemicals on plants and picking our outdoor paddocks/pastures to keep them clear of manure to manage insects and ensure our horses have a clean environment to keep them healthy.
Commended by King County Animal Control, Serenity also helps save community tax dollars by working with Animal Control on assessments of reports, cruelty evidence and intake assists.
