This guy is too cute, and very inquisitive- we named him Jahmaal which means handsome. He is also a big boy for his age, halter broke and does well on lead.  He is such an affectionate little guy.  He will snuggle under your arm and just stand ther waiting for you to rub and scratch him.

 

He arrived with his mother, Dove, who was not even making milk because she was so starved. He was doing quite well and though we did get Dove to produce some milk it was costing her health so our veterinarian suggested we go ahead and continue the natural weaning process so Dove would have a chance to heal.

 

Jahmaal's health has steadily improved- he is beginning to fill out more and though he has a ways to go he has nice straight legs and will be a beautiful, sound horse.

 

He's respectful of space and an eager learner. He gets along well with all the other horses, and wants you to come see that he might be the perfect horse for you.
