What a day- we built stairs, we wrapped and filled the round pen, we removed tons of rocks, we created a drainfield for winter, we painted, we took photos to promote the horses- we brushed every horse we could find- thank you so much to Microosft's 75 volunteers who came and helped us- from the SQL Release Team to WW MSN, we had lots of "techies" out at the farm doing winderful work that will help our farm so much!

Ride for the Cure
9/13-9/14

Ride for the Cure was in Kent - set up similar to Relay for life (in which participants walk for 24 hours and raise funds and awareness for cancer) the Ride for a Cure was held at Reber Ranch and participants rode for 24 hours.

Team Serenity, a group of SERR volunteers along with some of our own rescues (who did great considering several are still learning) raised over $2,000 for the Cancer Society and showed our rescues to the community. We got some great feedback and wonderful compliments on the horses. Many thanks to Kristi for coordinating this great event!
