Stormy is strikingly pretty and very easygoing- she came to us ill and thin, but is healthy and happy now. Everyone oooh's and ahhh's at her pretty face markings and her elegant looks- she has a lot to offer.
After further evaluation, we discovered that Stormy seems to have some good dressage training, according to our volunteer trainer she responds like a high level dressage horse. Won't you come out and see her?
A very nice mare on the ground and we were advised that she is an excellent riding horse. She wants to bond very much.
Her pedigree can be seen online - she has War Admiral (and Man O War) back in her bloodlines: http://www.pedigreequery.com/hope+and+time
April 4-5, it was beautiful out and volunteer Dennis rode Stormy. She did terrific. We had been told she was a nice riding horse, but we take our time healing and helping the horses before riding so she hadn't been under saddle. Stormy is eager to please, and and will make someone very happy.
Notes from a volunteer after riding Stormy:
"She's great. Ties great, tacks great. Very nice ride never a buck or refusal. She's very smart and willing. She will side pass from one side of the arena to the other without a forward step. Who ever gets her is getting a winner. "
